Chief Operating Officer

Sandra Esteban Biescas is the Chief Operations Officer of ApriSolar, responsible for project origination, analysis, structuring, valuation and execution of projects. She has 7 years of project management and industrial engineering experience.

Prior to joining ApriSolar, Sandra was a Strategy Analyst for Viesgo in Spain where she focused onstrategic planning and post investment reviews. Prior to that she was a Project Engineer for Ge2, Gestión Eficiente de la Energía, where she was responsible for all Technical development of new energy projects and O&M.

Sandra’s impact is not only in leading renewable energy projects in emerging markets, she is also a Volunteer Engineer with Engineers Without Boarders (EWB) and an International Cooperation Volunteer for SETEM. Both are non-profit organizations focusing on basic infrastructure development and disaster humanitarian needs in developing countries.​

Sandra is a native Spanish speaker and is fluent in English. ​

Sandra received  a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from UNED (Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia)  and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid– Spain.
